Mid Ulster Council talk on recycling
5th Jan 2018
Our very proactive Eco-committee realised that over Christmas there will be a lot of waste from wrapping paper, toy packaging, food waste, bottles and even batteries. They felt it was important to educate the pupils on what goes into each bin and what happens after the bin has left their house. John Murtagh from the Mid Ulster Council came in to give a talk and demonstration to the pupils. We discovered a lot about what happens to our recycling waste. Did you know fabric for jumpers can be made from recycled plastic? Many thanks to John Murtagh for his continued support.
