Salmon Eggs
11th Feb 2015
Our school is lucky to have been chosen as a school to take part in the Salmon in the Classroom project. Ourselves and Desertmartin Primary both have our own salmon eggs and tank in our classroom. Over the next few weeks the eggs will grow and then we will release them into the river along with Desertmartin Primary. Throughout the project the children will be learning all about the life cycle of salmon, the conditions needed for the eggs to develop and how they will survive once released. The project will be followed up by a visit to the salmon fishery in late May.
