Knocknagin PS has a hard working, supportive Board of Governors who make a wonderful contribution to the management of our school. Our School Governors take a central role in promoting the raising of educational standards. We believe that good governance, along with good teaching and learning in a school that is connected to our community is vital for success of Knocknagin PS.

 The Strategic approach of our Governors includes:

- Setting the school’s vision and aims

- Establishing and maintaining the school’s ethos

- Setting the school’s plans and policies

- Monitoring and Evaluating school performance

- Promoting self evaluation to sustain school improvement
