On Wednesday 25th September the children of Knocknagin P.S, along with local artist Mary T Gribben and Mrs.Anne O'Hagan, created a beautiful candle which will be placed in Coolcalm for the upcoming Mission. The children collected old candles over the past two weeks, which were all melted down and recycled to create one candle in the colours of Desertmartin. Detailed on the candle are 43 pearls, one for each child in our school. The children also made their own individual candles to take home. Many thanks to Mary T and Mrs.O'Hagan for their creativity and help with this wonderful project.
